Just finished 锦月如歌 and I rather enjoyed it. I’m going to restart it again to practice Mandarin listening. After finishing HSK 1, I understood a lot more words and phrases than I previously have.

20 down, so many more to go. But I’m so happy with how they look.

Though I am trying to decide if I should invest in a granny square blocker to make them a little more uniform, or continue with my blocking mats and knit blocker pins.

Made a 2nd skull granny square (left) today for practice. The skull is a little wonky bc I used wool with an acrylic border instead of both acrylic.

But my tension is consistent bc they are the same size, so yay!

Now to maybe try this a 100 more times to make a cardigan in time for Halloween. 😅

After spending part of the day with my BFF and reliving some of our Gondolin lore love, I have come to the realization:

Gong Jun is my headspace’s perfect Ecthelion, Lord of the Fountain of Gondolin.

And absolutely nobody is changing my mind.

Took a break from bao couture today to make myself an LotR crossbody bag. Also featuring some lovely Christmas gifts from one of my BFFs.

Spent the morning repurposing a SHL tote bag to better fit my purposes. Multi-pockets, room for my Traveler’s Notebook, and a place to hook ChuChu’s carrier.
