Glad I waited for the Synthropol detergent to wash this piece that's all hand dyed fibers (except the white). You can see how much dye was released in the wash tub but the piece itself stayed pristine.

Doing another cross stitch fabric inventory and my take away is that I need to stop doing fabric of the month clubs in the fall plus I should avoid grab bags because dyers love to include lots of purple fabric in both of those and I don't use purple fabric.

First time getting floss from this dyer. The gold and silver one is called Copper Mine and I had to have it. It's one of those flosses that will be absolutely perfect for stitching things like rusted metal or pebbles.

My drive to get groceries and then coming home to see a red breasted nuthatch at the feeder were the best parts of today. One of my favorite birds and I haven't seen one since I was 20 and living in Northern Michigan.
