Canadians across the country are rallying behind a petition to revoke Elon Musk's citizenship.
He wasn't born in Canada. He represents profoundly anti-democratic values.
In Canada citizens can present these petitions to Canada’s parliament.
I support them.

Given how absurdly wealthy he is and that he personally controls a global communication platform, perhaps it would actually be fair to limit Elon Musk's freedom of speech to render it proportional to that of most humans by , say, oh I don't know...only allowing him 1 tweet per 1000 years?

OK sports fans, so this is my last bulletin for my position at @losangelestimes.bsky.social. I resigned yesterday in protest of the paper's and owner's cozying up to Trump. Here's my explanation on my substack, where I hope you will follow me going forward.

When we were children, we were taught that no matter how you reached, no matter much wealth and power you accumulated, you were not above the law.

We can no longer teach our children that.

And that's really fucking tragic.

I just wanted to give a quick update on The Onion’s purchase of InfoWars, which we can’t wait to relaunch as the dumbest website on the internet.

The long and short of it: We won the auction and — you're not going to believe this — the previous InfoWars folks aren't taking it well.
