I will be playing a pre-show 80's DJ set ahead of Thomas Dolby's November 15th show at Bell's Brewery Back Room! I'll be spinning an eclectic, hand picked selection of favorites from the era, ranging from deep cuts to old favorites, all leading up to the main event.

New poster design for Abilene Roller Derby, this month the theme is La Luchadora, and I did my best to convey the old school vibe of these warriors alongside the badassery of the derby skaters. Each poster this season has had a different art theme, and it has kept me on my toes. Enjoy!

Kindness is a super power.
Kindness is feared by men who pretend to be powerful.
Kindness doesn't care if it's cool.
Kindness is Punk as F#$%. : )

OK; in the spirit of "Something For Everyone" and inclusion, here's your MerMan for MerMay. Definitely to the "Bear" side of the spectrum, so maybe MerBear is the term we're going with on this one? You input is welcome on this one.

Happy MerMay, to those that celebrate. : )

Artwork done for the May 3rd bout for the Abilene Holy Smokes roller derby team's poster. This is an homage to the iconic movie and album cover art done by Chris Achilleos for the original release. #sizerdesignandillustration #heavymetalmovie #abilenerollerderby #rollerderby #dragon #posterdesign

Science builds futures that help everyone. Science is not worried about opinions. Science finds truth, not expected results. Science lets us understand our place in the world.

Fire up your turntables and collect your poppies, it's Record Store Day again, and once again the Munchkins at Green Light Music have commissioned me to design their poster. A little bit Dead, a little bit Oz, and all of the music trippy love I could cram into it!

Fight for empirical knowledge, fight for reason, fight the powers that fear science and rational thought and problem-solving. They fear science because they fear truth and logic.

When you build with intention, the mathematics of forms will reveal themselves, and when we step out of the way and trust our eyes to make decisions, we are rewarded with all the things that we didn't plan on.

I've worked with the Abilene Texas roller derby team for many years now, and when they decided to change their team identity this year, I was happy to help them become the Holy Smokes. This design will be incorporated into new team uniforms, and used with all upcoming online and print materials.

Once again, I'm honored to be included in the love and support of my local club, and last night at Vortex was a really special one.
Full of hope and energy, borne of mix of loss and remembrance and community, it was a reminder that Vortex serves many purposes for many people in the community.

I designed this poster back in 2011; guess I was ahead of my time? Still, I dig how it turned out, the ability to show without showing. : ) Enjoy.

“5 O’Clock Scruff Hunk” (2024)
Factory Coffee painting exercise, messing with volume via color, and just messing around to mess around. ; ) Hard to give up the ink lines, but I tried to minimize them. My anatomy on this one owes more to Muppets than human, but I'm happy with the overall vibe.

“Basement Dance Party” (2024)
Digital painting exercise, because it’s raining and gross outside today. Also, just felt like doing something different with some mood.

SIZER TOP 9 IMAGES (2024)
My annual look back at my favorite images or projects that I did during the year. A mix of client work, promo work and self-initiated projects. Going into 2025, I want my work to have the power and message that it needs to work hard and do good in the world.

Debbie Harry was one of my first punk-new wave "crushes"; an amazing performer who exuded raw attitude and allure and made me want to discover more new music from the exploding new wave and punk bands of the late 70's and early 80's. This is my tribute to her. Original photos by Chris Stein.
