Artistic nudity? No, no, AUTISTIC nudity.

I’m bare-ass naked obliviously explaining the issues that plagued the Mark 14 torpedo during WWII to someone who got bored of this fifteen minutes ago and would very much like to bone already

I keep telling people this. They say "you've changed" because they imagine that back in high school, I thought the same way they did. I did not. My political views and values were formed early and have not really changed that much.
It is not as exciting as smearing "elite liberal arts colleges," but empirical evidence shows that on average young peoples' political positions shift little to not at all in college. Family, social class, etc. all shape their worldviews far more.

Yom Kippur is a day of reflection, of forgiveness, of restoration. This year, may we all pray for a better, kinder, more peaceful future.

Wishing all who observe across the five boroughs and the world a meaningful, easy fast. G’mar chatimah tovah.

Has anyone written about how postmodernism has just completely consumed the right? It's obviously consumed liberalism too but that's predictable; what's wild is seeing the people who are supposed to believe in Truth constantly subjectify everything

I know we're desensitized, but it's important to note, again, that today's events would have led to the immediate impeachment & removal of any president from at least Truman to at least Obama. We're hundreds of miles on the interstate past Richard Nixon's high school prank-level crimes compared to 👇
Trump wraps up a speech to military leaders that represented a major escalation of his effort to weaponize the armed forces into a tool he can use to violently quash domestic dissent. Hard to imagine how anyone with a shred of dignity can keep serving after this, which of course is the point.

Hegseth's statements themselves are possibly prosecutable
Hegseth: "We unleash overwhelming and punishing violence on the enemy. We also don't fight with stupid rules of engagement. We untie the hands of our warfighters to intimidate, demoralize, hunt, and kill the enemies of our country. No more politically correct and overbearing rules of engagement."

Stephen Miller's wife shares that he only eats mayonnaise
The entire JD Vance interview on Katie Miller's podcast is a desperate attempt to humanize not only Vance but the whole cabinet of weirdos.

My students, who attend a working-class rust-belt college, openly talk abt how much they hate AI & are afraid of its consequences. I wonder how much of the oft-reported student enthusiasm for the tech is the merely result of the NYT’s Ivy League bias

Watching liberals blather gibberish about Israel and Palestine is horrifying. It's like an AIPAC handler got falling-down drunk and vomited up a word salad in a hotel bar at 4am, to the edification of no one but the extremely patient bartender.

The rich don’t spend the money they have, and the poor don’t have money to spend.

This is a problem when 70% of the economy relies on consumer spending.

Closing our nation's wealth gap isn’t just the right thing to do. It’s essential to save our economy. https://youtu.be/S6dCh48b4oI?feature=shared
