When I’m drawing conversation, connection between characters is important. This is not as obvious an insight as you may think. Artists can fall into the trap of being obsessed with exciting staging more than the feeling between human beings in the scene.

This is a Superman movie that did what I want a Superman movie to do: advance the idea of kindness as the superpower.
I’ll say more in the next INKSKULL, but suffice it to say, I was entertained. Highly recommended.

I realise now that was a bullshit rule I made for myself. The truth is I make the work. I don’t consume it.
