Updated the Accessibility Actions technique to also include single tap button alternatives to swipe to delete and long press gestures.

This is needed to meet WCAG Pointer Gestures success criterion and #A11y Actions only work with iOS a11y features.

the good example shows an Edit button which displays Delete and Mark as Read icon buttons for each secure message that uses swipe to delete and long press gestures

Any VoiceOver iOS users able to reproduce a bug where VoiceOver cannot double tap to activate TextField inputs? I can only repro when Vertical LabeledContent is used but not when using TextField.accessibilityLabel. #a11y #SwiftUI

Dealership updated my BCM while doing the CSP updates and now I have Walk Away Lock on the #F150Lightning. Now it works like a Tesla where it will lock the doors automatically. It won't roll up the windows like Tesla though which would save you when it rains. @fordmotorsofficial.bsky.social
Apple Watch notification from Ford says Your vehicle has been locked using the Walk Away Lock feature.

got it! .combine to reduce the amount of swipes and fix reading order :) I was thinking of .contain for this group of buttons I needed to correct the reading order because they were jumping around rather than following the expected visual order

New good and bad Maps #a11y demo added to the #iOSdev #Accessibility Techniques app. The good map shows how to meet #WCAG's Pointer Gestures Success Criterion by adding single tap alternatives to the pinch and pan gestures used to zoom and move the map.

Years late to the game but @Tesla has now built an @Apple Watch app and it's better than @Ford's!

Ford's is slower and has more pages, clunkier whereas Tesla's is faster and has a more information dense, usable user interface.

It looks like you can only allow an entire paragraph to be copied like this screenshot but not able to select portions of the text to copy. Or should I just link to the .md documentation pages instead because there you can select and copy text.

Built a Date of Birth Picker prototype in #SwiftUI in the #iOS #a11y Techniques app in the App Store.

This is a custom control that combines native controls together to ensure Accessibility :) Has proper a11y labels, value, and focus management.
