My very first Brambling sighting was at Wallington. Obviously a good location for them.

My very first Brambling sighting was at Wallington. Obviously a good location for them.
The chair lift wasn't operating on Wednesday (I think they said that it was only in use at weekends at the moment) so we climbed up Carn Aosda, an easy climb. We used a telescope at the car park to initially find the four Ptarmigan and just headed up. They probably move around though!

It might well do! It's been here since mid-December and seems to like it here. Plenty to eat and only a few Marsh Harriers to bother it....
