they made Corbyn out to be the most racist man in Britain while Farage was waiting in the wings
November 9, 2025 at 8:21 PM
yes, definitely. the greens seem like they're starting from a fairly unified position, but it will undoubtedly be tried
November 9, 2025 at 7:58 PM
perhaps, but I don't think it'll stop em when they turn on him. As with Corbyn, the strengths will be used against him. a lifelong antiracist? call him an antisemite? a good media performer? a dangerous demagogue
November 9, 2025 at 7:54 PM
I suspect it's more that they don't think Polanski could actually become PM, so they can treat him as a curiosity. Whereas Corbyn could. This will all change the moment they scent real danger
November 9, 2025 at 7:07 PM
incredible that these fuckers are still vaunting a macron strategy when the french govt has been falling over every five minutes for the last year and macron himself is clearly pushing for a coalition with the fascists

"So everyone else should fund their choices to do something they kbow they can't afford?"

"Their choice" is a child. Yes, of course we should fundn children to be fed, regardless of any actions of their parents. Why would you even ask a question like this?
October 15, 2025 at 12:35 PM
and the child should therefore suffer?
October 15, 2025 at 11:25 AM
Honestly, I don't give a fuck - starving children need food.

But a Govt that has the capapcity to feed them and doesn't is far more culpable than a parent who doesn't have the capacity
October 15, 2025 at 8:59 AM
and therefore what are the consequences of not having scrapped it?
October 15, 2025 at 8:37 AM
you are arguing in favour of starving children. what brings someone to this point?
October 15, 2025 at 8:19 AM
yes, and it's going to drive them mad, because their only experience of confronting the left is machinating against an internal faction. they've never had to publicly confront an external left wing group, and they're completely unprepared
