I will grant that people have lost their bacon over the cheating scandal and never got it back. But I've not seen anything outside of those dozen players or so. Sorry you have had bad experiences.

Sorry about the asshole contingent. I guarantee it isn't 90% I was in the stands Friday for the HPB, shouting "Don't be jerks!" Any number is too many.

Next time you are in the Pacific Northwest, let me take you to a game. You will find we are almost all quirky and depressed rather than mean.

The dudes never really bothered me except once: last year, I went to the day game when Taylor Swift was playing at Lumen at night. They were harassing the teen/tween girls going to the concert. That was gross. But beyond that, whatever...on my way in, I say to my family "Hey! Jesus guys are here!"

I have decided it is a song about a terrifying moment for our nation where we were terrified...unsure whether tyranny would win out in the big battle. The next morning, we were delighted to see our fight had not been in vain. Tyranny had been defeated.

I find that a comforting song for this moment.
