A van with its headlights on, makes it was slowly up a narrow country lane to the top of the hill. Snow falls on the scene with visible flakes. The photo was taken as I waited for the van to get up the hill. The road was icy under the snow so I'd taken the decision to wait rather than risk crashing into the van.

I'd been down the far end at sunrise. The thick cloud on the horizon meant it was pretty underwhelming. I was almost back at the shore when the sun finally broke through.

One more, this one is an almost, but not quite. 📸

I'd seen the 'We can be heroes' banner and I was just wondering whether I could use it somehow. At that minute a fire engine came flying past with the blue lights on, unfortunately a bit too quick, so too much blur, for the shutter speed.

The woman within 📷

Another shot from my first evening taking #streetphotography. I took a lot of pictures, most didn’t work, too much movement in low light. I found more success focusing on individuals rather than wider shots.

I enjoyed it at first but became increasingly self conscious.

Driving back from Hadrian's Wall I caught a glimpse of an eerie sunset in my rearview mirror.

Unfortunately there were no lone trees nearby so I had to make do with an abandoned farmhouse for my silhouette.

Another shot from yesterday morning, this was looking across the Lanchester valley to the hill behind. The bank of fog was rolling across the hill and into the valley below.
