Instead of rezoning to allow more housing to be built, I would simply overstate the number of illegal inmigrants by 300% and increase taxes on construction material by 20% to 50%.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

I knew Gerry Ford. I was his driver when he came back to Michigan to campaign in his successful 1966 reelection bid. The only thing President Ford, one of the most honorable men I've known, has in common with Vice President Vance is that they are both known to walk bipedally.

Speaking of rent control, LA gives the nation a lesson in what NOT to do. This will cause landlords to abandon properties & reduce maintenance. Just when SB79 provided a way to increase housing availability, LA has found a way block it. Home prices will spike, making ownership even less affordable

Freeways look simple, but they’re brutal for Level 4 autonomy: high kinetic energy, low reaction time, and huge consequences for errors. Waymo offering autonomous rides on freeways is the first of its kind and a big milestone for the industry.

The thing about Epstein is that he was a very personable guy. Forensic and clinical psychologists who have analyzed his public behavior, lifestyle, and actions widely agree that he may have been a malignant narcissist like Trump. As part of his business activities, he sought out hundreds of elite
The most striking part of the Epstein disclosures is how very many powerful people, including reporters, continued to treat Epstein, *a convicted sex offender*, as a great guy to pal around with. To see if they learned their lesson now, let's see if Summers is still a NYT contributor tomorrow.

I've said for some time that Epstein's sex trafficking & pedophelia were only a sideline to his main business, which was selling information to whoever was willing to pay. The sex was just for his & his friends' perverted enjoyment & to obtain kompromat on others including Trump. I still think that.

I think this is why Trump is talking about doing a campaign-style tour around the country:
1. He craves the adulation of his crowds,
2. He gets to boast about doing all the things he hasn't had anything to do with, and
3. He gets to tell everyone that their lying eyes are lying to them.

This could very well be one of the (many) things Trump is trying so desperately to hide. I'll give odds that his modeling agency is hip deep in this.
“The pattern is one that involved modeling agencies around the world serving as fronts for human trafficking…This may very well be what Trump is trying desperately to keep quiet in the DOJ’s Epstein files.”
