Si brought mine in Singapore in 2005. It's such a window on what we were listening to, watching etc.

The cat we're fostering sang me the song of her people at 0243 (she'd pooped and wanted that gooooone from her cage) and I didn't even grump.

I did a peyote beading class today! Lots of fun. I'm going to make a set of these as earings for my stitchy Secret Santa.
It's supposed to be a thread bobbin. It's so slinky.

Yesterday and today I've cut out about 10 bags, and made 4. Not too bad on the mitre corners (I'll have to make more of these bags for practice, they have a vinyl front so you can see contents) but the other has become my go-to.
Paris & Hundreds and Thousands for sale. Shout out if interested.

I posted this on IG earlier today but I know it'll revive some memories, especially if you went to school in the 80s in Tamaki Makaurau. Bendy yellow buses for the win!

Just noticed something we stock at work. No calculator included with this one either.
And no mysogny intended - it's her policies I am comparing to the care a goat would take of my Vege patch, something I really on to feed my family. Not her looks.

Repairing a bag today so it's useful again. How's that for being good?

Si called me into the kitchen to take a look at Kayn - valiantly protecting his (very empty) bowl from the roomba.

All this rain, yet the perspex cover is still dirty. How does that work???

Me: no, I can't join the KAL, I need to finish this shawl first.
Also me: oh look BUY BUY BUY

Also me, scrolling on my phone instead of finishing the last 100 odd stitches on the LanArte secret stitch 🙄

I went to Penrose High and it was our cross country goal. Plus we have these hanging in our lounge. The first was from when Ruapehu erupted last, and the second is by Rory Thompson.

Mine are up on the top shelf now (after Elise came along). I have about 4 to make but she's too interested in taking them apart brick by brick while I'm at work. Si put his vehicles on the shelves behind clear perspex.

I can hear Charlie Meowse snoring in the next room. I may have been too harsh in blaming the other half for my crap nights sleep. Eep.
