If you are interested in using Liberte in class, I had students learn about faction stacks and card and run through round 1 with the reminder that the strategy comes later -- this is just the learnign part. I asked them to take a few cards as their personal display too. 1/

One CEO gets shot, and the police bend over backward to protect them. Meanwhile, I think back to 2012, when 20 1st-graders were killed at Sandy Hook. I was in kindergarten then. Since that tragedy, we haven’t seen a specialized hotline or state-funded police protection for schools. It’s infuriating.

I am looking for links where I can find engaging history lesson ideas. I teach 7th Grade World History and 8th Grade US History in San Diego, California. Any suggestions are dearly appreciated. Thank you!
