Great that the First Minister visited Barlia Football Centre to witness how a community run facility delivers positive results. SFA were also in attendance stating that Barlia is one of their "flagship models" which they want to replicate throughout Scotland. Congrats to Castlemilk Football Trust.

I recently responded to some residents' concerns about the poor condition of the lane running from Crofthill Rd to Ashcroft Dr. I'm delighted to see the work has now been completed, earlier than expected and to a high standard.

Great to visit Carmunnock with Zen Ghani for the Open Doors Festival. Glasgow's only village is steeped in history and we were treated to fascinating historical facts from resident experts. Very welcoming. Congrats to all for volunteering today.

After months of pressing Glasgow City Council to have Menock Rd resurfaced, I'm now delighted that the work is now in progress. There will be some disruption for the next seven days or so, but the benefit outweighs the small sacrifice. @glasgowsnp.bsky.social investing in our roads.
