Ronny Chieng explained climate change on the Daily Show a year ago and it remains as relevant as ever!

Totally agree. Credit to recruitment as we seem to be considering the right sort of personality as well as their football ability. Isodor the perfect example.
Said it a lot recently, but there's a really good feeling around #SAFC at the moment.

Fans and players' connection seems as strong as it did during the Quinn/SKP days, and you feel we can beat anybody, but if we don't, it won't be for lack of effort. Loving it.

GBNews has a brand new presenter to fill the gap in their anti-migrant coverage!

His name is Matthew Goodwin & luckily enough he knows HOW TO STOP AN INVASION!

Is this the solution at last? I looked into it... www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyKI...

The shape of things to come.
This is the most-read piece on @theatlantic.com. It should be the most-read piece. You should all read it, even though it may make you sad. Here’s a gift link so you can read it.

Well said.
I know it's a sales pitch, but this is still an odd framing. The BBC writes about a lot of stuff. Are you saying they don't do good journalism?

I just found an article on Central Bylines about the Nottingham Goose Fair.

Picking one article is hardly representative.

I liveskyed the 2024 Martial Law Declaration of Korea.

This is the thread.
According to Korean constitutional law, if martial law is declared in a state of non-war, the National Assembly can vote to make the president stand it down. The National Assembly is gathering now.

We are just now getting footage of inside the National Assembly.

I became quite interested in US politics over the last 15 years or so, but I just don’t think I have the mental energy to follow the next 4.
This really hit the global mark for me. Watching countries scramble now to protect themselves from what 🍑 is going to do is surreal. How do we make it through this?

I was similar for a while, but things got so toxic on Twitter I just thought it’s not worth it and deleted my account. Thankfully this place has seen a proper migration lately from there and so far is a much nicer experience!
I think, for me, one of the reasons I’ve been hanging on to Twitter is to follow the progress of #safc especially on match days. It will be a good test to see if I can get that from this app. Then I can bury the blue bird or black X or whatever it is, for good.
