March, 2011 -- Pastor Dave Stone at Southeast Christian Church (led today by Kyle Idleman) announces the church is debt-free and in symbolically burning the mortgage, accidentally sets fire to his sermon notes for that morning.

(Not really, but it would have made a great story.)

Good that CBC-TV News in Canada didn't get the thumbnails for these stories reversed.

Took 60 seconds to try to help someone searching for some specific worship lyrics. Google AI started compiling a list of all the songs the line is NOT in. So helpful.

I'm currently reading A Devil Named Lucifer, and as he did with A God Named Josh (a book about Jesus) author Jared Brock leaves no stone of research unturned on a subject rarely discussed in such detail.

In the life of Jesus, men are just ordinary, but women are extraordinary. Historians 100 years from now...
"Just a short look at the covers of two published works by Evangelical theologian John MacArthur indicates he esteemed women higher than men, and no doubt endorsed them in his public ministry."

Dayspring, the Christian card and gift company, markets a jigsaw puzzle based on the verse, "I will make you fishers of men;" but the image is all fishing lures, not nets (which would be more accurate) or rods and reels (which I'd settle for). Does this mean we're trying to lure people into faith?

Do people still play Wordle? The five-letter words game? Or did we outgrow it? It was trending big not that long ago. I got a "hole in one" once. Solved in one guess!
Back in the day, "Wordle" referred to a word cloud generator like the one pictured here. This is a Wordle for the entire Bible.
