Just remembered the bootleg Peanuts advent calendar from last year and a chill went down my spine. This thread is not for the faint of heart.
I got a Peanuts advent calendar with a little figurine for each day and so far the paint jobs have been… alarming. I think this is supposed to be Rerun but it looks like the ghost of Alfalfa from Little Rascals.

I'm going to be sick of classical guitars by the 24th! Hopefully the next title in the series will be lacking the obvious traffic noises heard on the first.

Advent guitar thing, day 1.

Villa-Lobos's 12 Études for guitar, composed originally in 1929. This performance by Turibo Santos. Mostly technical works for guitar, so it's somewhat difficult listening.

Non-Christmasy advent music countdown thing coming up. Back during lockdown I acquired this CD boxed set of classical guitar music, a reissue of the 24 LP set of the same name. These LPs were numbered on the front cover from 1 to 24. CD 25 was a bonus disc of material compiled from elsewhere.

Deliberate leaks are not culpable, but accidental leaks are heinous.

What a jolly political culture we have.

I love how all the Air Force One interviews with Trump look like he’s just coming out of the toilet after a horrific dump.

Forgot to mention that I picked up a charity shop CD yesterday - a 3 disc recording of John Adams' Nixon In China for £2.99.

In a pub, as I couldn't do so last night. I don't usually play on the fruit machines, but found a loose 20p piece in my pocket so put it in. Won £30!

If LLM data centres that serve generative AI platforms were erased from the Earth…

…we’d be fine.

They prop up nothing of essential value we can’t do ourselves.

If we let them proliferate for a generation, we may lose institutional expertise.

I've just walked past a pub which appeared to be illegally streaming a Premier League match to the TV in the front lounge. Outside was a man peering through the window whilst jotting something down in a notebook. Can't see them streaming much longer, then, or even staying open.
