The MSNBC commentator saying that most political violence has historically come from the left just once again showed how we suffer from failing to learn history. Lynching, pogroms, race riots, the political violence that ended Reconstruction, and against the Civil Rights Movement. Come on.

Anyone who ever trusted mega-corporations to do the right thing was wrong. That should be clear to all by now. Profit will always be their priority. Everything else comes last. Their ideology is a death cult. If we don't regulate these monsters into planetary boundaries we lose everything.
It sure looks like every last major tech firm is abandoning past commitments to end their use of fossil fuels. Particularly concerning given how we know that fossil fuel burning power plants are being built NOW with the explicit aim of powering data centers

“During the course of the 26-day sit-in, the Black Panther Party played a leading support role in providing food for the demonstrators. Over and over again, the disabled protesters credited the BPP with literally sustaining their struggle, “keeping us alive body and soul,” as one person put it.”
In 1977, Disabled activists occupied the Federal Building in San Francisco to demand the passage of Section 504— legislation to protect against disability discrimination. When the building was cordoned off, in an effort to starve activists out, The Black Panthers *Broke In* to deliver them hot meals.

look I'm not myself a political scientist so I can't say what effects it would have for a spate of politicians to crop up saying "the enemy is the oligarchy" and "the enemy is billionaires" while swinging a kettlebell but I think we should try it for science and see what happens
My name is Graham Platner and I’m running for US Senate to defeat Susan Collins and topple the oligarchy that’s destroying our country.

I’m a veteran, oysterman, and working class Mainer who’s seen this state become unlivable for working people. And that makes me deeply angry.

In 2016 this guy went to a law office with the goal of killing his wife’s lawyer. He hacked a woman to death with a machete and bludgeoned two other people to death (including a man he falsely thought was that lawyer), then set fire to the building to cover his tracks.

Anyway, Trump just freed him.
The America First geniuses managed to send hairdressers and soccer players into a gulag and *import* a triple murderer into the US. Nice work.

We should all realize by now that federal budget deficits are not the problem. The national debt is not a "bill that future generations need to pay." The federal government has Constitutional authority to create unlimited $$ to pay its bills.

The real problem is fascism.

Vital services eviscerated and ICE becomes the highest-funded federal law enforcement agency ever known. It hasn’t been sold this way, but it’s a massive public jobs program for fascists.
