Daniel Jeremiah’s newest mock draft has the Bengals taking Nolen, so decided to do a mock with Nolen as the first pick. Assume they added a couple OL in free agency lol.

The Bengals might get an extra 3rd round pick for Trey Brown leaving. Considering the draft is half dumb luck, I’m not gonna be too mad if that happens.

Obviously it could be a problem though if he has been part of their push to add more athletes. But there’s no way any fan knows Browns impact.

Continuing my daily Bengals mock drafts, gonna try to always pick new guys, so here’s the one for today.

With Al Golden as DC, it raises more questions about Germaine Pratt who was not drafted when Golden was linebacker coach nor did he have his best year under golden.

Personally, I’d move on and look to replace him with Christian Elliss, Patriots linebacker who is young and could be ascending.

Shocker: The Bengals pass rush just isn’t good enough

I love Mike Hilton, I’d even sign him back on a one year deal.

But he’s not it in coverage. He always needs help.

With DJ Turner having a broken clavicle on a basically over season, it is not a bad outcome as he should be fully healed by next season when they might be competing again.

I still definitely think we could turn it around and be legit contenders next year. But there need to be serious changes at defense
