It's a damp day in Battlefield, but our lovely @scottishgreens.org volunteers have been out on the doorsteps, determined to turn our record breaking polls into our best ever election result next year!

Shame on the UK Government for giving him the honour of a state visit.

Eurovision is supposed to be a celebration of peace, unity and love.

A state committing genocide cannot be allowed to take part.

Great to see progress toward restoration and reopening of Langside Halls, thanks to the work of one of Glasgow Southside's Green representatives, Holly Bruce.

Earlier today MSPs backed my proposal for boycotts, divestment and sanctions against Israel, as well as for immediate recognition of the State of Palestine.

This is a huge step forward, thanks to the many people who have campaigned for this.

This afternoon Holyrood will hear a statement from the First Minister about Palestine, followed by a debate.

Greens have proposed a broad package of boycotts, divestment and sanctions where the Scottish Government can act now, and we challenge all other parties to vote for it tonight.

Awaiting orders from the new team!

It was wonderful to return to the renewed Citz tonight, as it retakes its place in Glasgow's cultural life.

Ukrainian and Scottish performers took to the stage in Victoria Park today to mark Ukrainian Independence Day, with many of Glasgow's Ukrainian community in the crowd.

Solidarity with Ukraine's people, at home and around the world, as they continue to fight for the independence of their country.

I attended a lovely event at Glasgow's Botanic Gardens today, to open the new Peace Garden and to mark the 80th anniversary of the #Hiroshima bombing.

As we remember the atrocities of the past, and work to oppose the atrocities of today, we must not lose hope in the potential for a peaceful future.

Nicola should feel flattered. I hope John understands how humiliating it is to be praised by this monster. Time for a long hard look in the mirror.

Is this really the way the Scottish Government wants the world to see Scotland?
July 26, 2025 at 5:08 PM
This is every bit as sinister and dangerous as the worst anti-immigrant propaganda from the last Tory government. Starmer's Labour is a disgrace.

I'm extremely grateful to @scottishgreens.org members in Glasgow for choosing me as their lead candidate for next year's Holyrood election.

The last few years have been the most successful in our party's history, and with the right campaign we could make an even bigger impact in 2026 and beyond.

Yesterday was Glasgow Pride, and I joined the @tie.scot campaign and @eisunion.bsky.social on the march.

A final reminder to Scottish Green Party members - voting closes at noon on Friday in our candidate selection.
Your vote matters - please use it!

Just a few days left for @scottishgreens.org members to choose our candidates.

Green MSPs know that the Scottish Parliament must always advance Scotland's place in the wider world, acting for peace, justice and internationalism. Here's a reminder of some of my work.

If we want to put public services back on their feet, tackle poverty, and invest in a green future for Scotland, then progressive tax is simply essential.

As a Green MSP I've achieved tax changes that mean high earners pay more, and put an extra £1.7 billion a year into public services.

Equality has been a core priority for the @scottishgreens.org for as long as I can remember.

Since joining the party on the back of the Section 28 repeal campaign, I've worked to ensure that the Greens in Parliament stand up to prejudice, and make a difference.
July 6, 2025 at 11:12 AM
The next session of the Scottish Parliament must force the Government to take actions it has been delaying far too long on climate.

If reselected, I'll be bringing critically important experience to that urgent task.

The emergency rent freeze, and introducing legislation for long term rent controls, are among my proudest achievements.

As Green members select candidates for 2026, I'm asking for their 1st preference votes to continue this work.
July 4, 2025 at 10:49 AM
As #ScottishGreens members choose their candidates for Holyrood, here's a reminder of some of my work.

I've done more to turn Green policy into reality than anyone thought possible. I'm asking for members' 1st preference votes to continue that work.
