Friday night games in Thomond Park are a nightmare as someone living in not-Limerick, but I decided last minute that I couldn’t not travel to cheer for POM, Murray, and Archer one last time.

5:30am start to be in Limerick in time to start work. Wasn’t home until after 1am. Worth it every time.❤️‍🔥

From “it’s so over” to “we’re so back” in the space of literally 2 minutes

Not sure I’m ready to face into an era of Munster Rugby without these two in it. So delighted for both of them (Healy as well tbf) that they get to go out on their own terms.

I tell myself after every year’s Christmas interpro that I’m not bothering with the next one. And then, the following year, I inevitably find myself right back here

I’ve watched Munster play in Thomond Park more times than I can count. I’ve seen them win, lose, draw there. I’ve seen them play well and play badly, in good weather and in torrential rain and freezing fog (yes). And yet it still feels exciting to be here every time

You might think it’s hard work supporting a team like Munster. Lost to Zebre, in 12th place in the league table (for now), shock head coach resignation.

But it’s actually pretty easy when you get to spend your Saturdays in this place.
