I spent Thanksgiving with my lovely inlaws, they have a large backyard next to a forest. There was several mushroom species just a short distance from their back porch.
I haven't worked on IDing them yet.
4 images of different fungi species found close to Glide, OR The top left is a small purple mushroom. The top right has 2 small, white mushrooms. The bottom left has two dark mushrooms. Their caps were dark with a rough texture and the stems were lighter in color. The last, the bottom right, was old and mostly eaten. It had a spongy texture, light stem, and brown color. It looked like a bolete to me. The last two were older and in bad condition.
