The vanquishing of Military.com.
Former staffers say a new owner dealt the respected publication a death blow when service members and veterans needed it most.

Found my Grandfather’s Army-Issued field watch from WWII. He wore it across Europe to Germany, then in the Philippines.

Gonna see if I can get it running again.

If you know a good watch shop in the DC/NOVA area send me a note.

It looks like Russia’s winter strike campaign against Ukraine is getting started. But this winter, Ukraine has a much enhanced capability to strike back.
Overnight, Russia launched a giant Shahed attack. A total of 75 Shahed's were launched of which 71 (!) were shot down. At least six regions were affected by the attack. In addition, a single Kh-59 missile was destroyed in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

This article is worth your time if you’re wrestling with the Geneva Convention’s take on when a hospital is no longer a hospital in the eyes of a military force.
What are the laws of war when a hospital is a war zone?
What is needed now is a coordinated effort to evacuate all patients and staff from Al-Quds
