I'm seeing lots of false equivalences here between Felon47 and Neville Chamberlain. Chamberlain was an honourable man scarred by the horror of the First World War and determined to do everything he could to avoid another. When he saw he had failed, he declared war on tyranny.

I had cause to use a term today I haven't used in a very long time - Iron Curtain. I can't help wondering whether a new Iron Curtain is descending, but this time extending across the Bering as far as eastern Maine.

In one day, Trump/Hegseth have fired the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Chief of Naval Ops, Deputy Chief of USAF and the JAGs for all three services. Chief of US Coast Guard was fired last month.

So another Munich conference starts tomorrow. Exactly 568 days of the 1938 conference, my parents & uncle put on their TA uniforms and marched into barracks in Kent, in response to their callup telegrams. Uncle Syd never came home.
I'm praying that Europe can stand united this time against US & RU
