Todd McLellan can only get so much out of such an untalented team. The Yzerplan is an abject failure. His tenure in the front office is worse than the Darkness with Harkness Dead Wings.

Might be time to take Bryce out of this game. By far his worst game as a Wolverine to date. He’s young, he’ll make mistakes, but if Michigan loses this game, it’ll be largely his fault.

Since July 8, the Tigers are 7-16 while the Guardians are 17-7. Assuming both teams stay on that pace (no reason to think they won’t), Cleveland will finish 93-69, 13 games ahead of Detroit (80-82).

It’s pretty clear now that the Tigers 31-13 run last fall was a fluke. I wonder how they will explain the collapse when they’re watching the playoffs from home instead of participating
