@kcarterjackson.bsky.social preached the joy of resistance as only she can when teaching us about the abolitionist movement, & Cathy Harris spoke about her service to the Merit Systems Protection Board prior to her illegal firing. And so many amazing people came out to listen, learn, and organize!

i think i would honestly find this whole discourse more tolerable if people simply said what they were actually saying, which is that they think the Democratic Party is too associated with femininity (and secondarily, with black people) and that they want to correct this
