Trump’s tariffs aren’t just crippling our trade relationships, they’re hurting real farmers on the ground in Minnesota.

I’ll keep standing up for the farmers who feed, fuel, and grow our country.

This is a bigger issue than people realize. Not just jobs lost. But their families losing benefits. Landlords losing tenants. Cities and towns losing revenue. This is how recessions start

Ready Fire Aim is no way to govern.
More accurate, fewer words;

"There are plenty of contractors going under".

A friend furloughed 75% of staff (furlough w/paying for health insurance for three months), 50% exec pay cut, 25% rest of staff to keep as many people w/salary.

PS: Wasn't 18F a government office, not a contractor.

Indeed, key moment in downward spiral was Vance lashing out in response to Zelenskyy's point on diplomacy with Putin

Two things…
1. We’re assuming the MAGA in office will allow a free and fair election to happen and then relinquish power/control if they lose
2. We’re also assuming there is a difference in MAGA and the GOP. (We all saw Rubio/Cruz bend the knee…not sure there’s a GOP left disconnected from MAGA)
If the market continues to trend down, and the Atlanta Fed turns out to be right, the midterms will be very interesting.

The battle between republican self preservation and MAGA will be intense

Trump's shameful behavior towards President Zelensky and his surrender to Putin makes Neville Chamberlain look like a strong leader.

I am ashamed to have such a stupid, doddering fool and coward as my President.

The biggest cage match ever will be between Musk and Trump. Elon will try to implement AI in a manner that automates much of what Trump is now trying to control.

Trump will have no understanding of what is going on and will have to turn to the AI oligarchs to support him in this battle.

The battle will be fought over which company’s AI will be used by the feds.

This is a zero sum battle that will create more chaos than this country has ever seen

Dems should propose a law that immediately requires every fed agency to post on @bsky.app account, every outlay with a detailed description, $, and a link to existing gov sites with in depth details

Rather than trying to keep Elon out, pre-empt him so he cant miss characterize spending.

Anyone out there ever work in Treasury Payments? I'm curious if this is actually the case:

The Secure Payment System (SPS) employs a strict separation of duties as a core security measure.

The point of the ? Is to know how many people are required to approve a payment and where are they located

Since evidently we're doing this AGAIN.

Arab and Muslim Americans deserve the dignity of not being coerced or forced into endorsing with their votes the genocide of their friends and family.

Telling people to ignore the deaths of their loved ones because they're going to die anyway is evil.
