games switch location every game after game 4, so you’d need additional rest days in the schedule you’ve outlined to follow your desired pacing…

you just outlined this years finals schedule save for game 1 and 2…if your argument is that there should be 1 day between game 1 and 2 then say that…many valid criticisms about the league and its scheduling right now but i don’t believe this is one of them

isn’t congruent with your argument though. this scheduling (except game 1 and 2) gives 1 day in between if games are in the same location, 2 if games move location. this is now only done for the finals instead of all playoff series, as this year they only gave 1 day of rest regardless of location

this has been the pacing of the finals for a while now it’s not new…

although i don’t see an issue with this on the low end, just pointing out how incredibly long and expansive axons can get!
