Thank you for not calling it "deporting." This is not deportation. Deportation is a process. Here there was NO process. Deportation is being sent back to where you came from. These people were sold to a foreign country's prison. We must stop using their propaganda words.
Sotomayor is right. According to this Supreme Court, the US can now kidnap, detain, and fly legal immigrants and citizens to a foreign country's prison, even if it's a whoopsie.

John Roberts has blocked the court order requiring Kilmar Abrego Garcia's return tonight. The block is indefinite so the court order is effectively paused by Roberts until further legal motions transpire, the Trump team acquiesces, or Garcia is murdered in El Salvador, whichever happens first.
