November 12, 2025 at 5:28 AM
Oh, sorry (US-centric jerk here, LOL) And yeah, y'all have way too much rain and gloominess. But you also have running streams!
Enjoy the bluesky photos I guess?
November 12, 2025 at 5:26 AM
Feeling the same. It's like we collectively went out too oooh and aaah together. I do love this for us.
November 12, 2025 at 5:24 AM
What state are you in? Arizona was posting some! But yeah some folks have clouds...
November 12, 2025 at 5:22 AM
I'd like to know that too. I know our phones pick up more than we can see, but we've had a few in the last few years that went WAY south.
A little googling tells me apparently this is maximum! So, lucky us!

The Sun has reached solar maximum, NASA and NOAA scientists say
Aurora watchers and sun gazers, take heart — our star could remain at this level of activity for another year.

Nice job!

I'm at about the same latitude and I could see them...but yeah clouds mess it up. :( But if you search Aurora here you can see everyone else's photos!
November 12, 2025 at 5:13 AM
GO out and look, and if you have a phone, point it.
I'm in Southern IL and could see them pretty well, esp. with the phone. They're WAY farther south that that map shows.
Dark sky is better too...
November 12, 2025 at 4:55 AM
LOL. Yes it has!
November 12, 2025 at 4:49 AM
