To be clear, they are planning to fire 500,000 workers. They are just firing people in clusters. I read this in Global Market News a few days ago. The firings start tomorrow with everyone being laid off before the holiday season.

I feel so angry and hopeless. If this happens to a sitting Senator, the rest of us are toast. Ugh
