Just dropped this and several other originals and prints off at Arvada Center for their Holiday Market. I can't wait to go back and see the show all set up, it was positively buzzing with artsy energy today in the main gallery! The show opens Thanksgiving weekend and runs thru Dec 14 😍

My son saved seeds from a farmers market gourd he bought two years ago to make a guitar out of. We now have oodles of gourd vine on an 8 ft hoop and quite a few gourds all over 😜 Aren't they awesome?! #gardensky #birdhousegourd

Art experiment: gouache on panel prepared with watercolor ground. There will be details (mountains, etc) but I'm letting this first watery layer dry. So far, big fan! I love painting on wood because it gives so much depth and permanence to the piece.

It rained so much last night that we found this lost soul in the middle of the sidewalk this morning. I'm not sure I have ever seen such a big snail in Colorado! We rehomed him near some green stuff so he avoids getting crunched.

We saw a bear in Waterton! Never been so close to one and I've been in a lot of bear areas in Montana etc. Don't worry, we stayed in the car! Anybody able to say for sure if it is grizzly or not? We kind of think young grizz: not huge, but seemed to have the shoulder hump and tipped fur... #animalid

Late to the #showmeyourknits #garterstitch party but I'm working on a really wild Weekender Sweater in rainbow yarn that features mostly garter. I was cautiously optimistic but am falling more and more in love with the color story!
