Day 3 and it's hard to pick a favorite album, but starting the B-side off with high energy Does Your Mother Know helps give this the edge as my favorite ABBA album (ABBalm? alb-ABBA?). Voulez-Vous rocks a lot more than the Disco-nati would have you might cry during I Have a Dream.
The poster has picked another pyramid focused album cover, this time swapping blue with red. The pyramid and background are both blue this time, no contrast, showing just how in harmony the four members of the band are in a picture at the center and are decidedly off center in their photo. 50% of the foursome are blonde which evokes thoughts of Sweden for vexillologists. The man in the tuxedo holds a beam of light and shows no emotion on his face to the scalding pain. It's ABBA, Voulez-Vous, written at the top and it fuckin rules.

Day 2 of tunes. Foxygen's We Are the 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace and Magic because it kicks ass. San Francisco is a great single w/ competing vocals (*I was bored anyway*) in a sea of Snuggies, Bowling Trophies, and the titular freakout at the end (*fish man*). Listen front to back, no excuses
An inverted, eroded edged red pyramid is aimed to pierce an open third eye in the bottom middle of the album. Stark contrast of colors, red and white, for an album of stark album. 'Foxygen We Are The 21st Century Ambassarods of Peace and Magic' is written in a serfi font along the top. I agree and hope it's a lifetime appointment.

Day 1 of me talking about albums that impacted me because I just need to talk about art and hopefully regain a little bit of my love for the world in the process. Great rockabilly vibes with a 7+ minute journey to close out the album. Was stuck in my CD player once upon a time, but never midned
Yellow background as it catches your eye the most, cursive font spells out The Thrills in red, Let's Bottle Bohemia in jersey print in blue on the bottom to round out the colors. A skeleton with a bell for a ding-a-ling wears a cowboy hat and plays guitar with a gal who seems to be singing her truth. She might be the Faded Beauty Queen. Seems like love will always get in the way.

Day 23 and another movie that I like. Don't overthink it. Just generally, don't, but especially with this movie. Your leap of faith will be rewarded with the best Oasis takedown in cinema.
A brown haired woman and her blonde friend (sister? sister-in-law? this relationship was never established) sit at an outdoor pub, getting a tan from all the English rain. They're listening to a friend play a song, that's no Fix You, but pretty damn good. Little do they know, that friend musician has a new secret and is sharpening his skills. Soon, he will become a musical weapon that will cut out Ed Sheeran's heart in front of a live audience.

Day 22 and let's keep this gravy train rolling... running? on the tracks? Honestly, should have scanned at least one blueprint for this damned sauce locomotive before signing on to engineer this project. Whole thing makes no damn sense.
An exasperated man sits in Congress, which was and continues to be an exasperating group of people. Piles of letters sit in front of him as he continues to make his plea and try to make the machinery turn for the people. He also might try to throw himself off a bridge later because of a banker... Wait, different movie. One of the funnest impressions to (try to) do.

A recovering self-harmer and a future Riddler have a conversation on the Ventura Pier about misery being the good stuff in life. The color blind kid is hunched over, probably from his legs being burnt from pushing a VW bus through the southwest. This scene got me through being a teenager.

A blonde woman, a redhead, and dark haired femme fatale motor away on a 'DONZI' speedboat. I don't know if that's a brand or a joke as it's not really a speedboat economy. All I know is this movie has an amazing cast, is pure and if its era, and fucking rules and I won't be rewatching it to find out how wrong I am. Good soundtrack too. Spandau Ballet rocks.

A man with a small role but a big moustache sits at a diner, giving a lecture to a kid sitting opposite, back to the camera, who's eager to start chasing his dreams. No amount of experience or disillusionment or despair at the death of rock and roll is able to break through to the kid, because even through the bitterness, you can still tell our burnt out music journalist loves what he does. And loves that he sees the same spark in the kid who has a lot of lessons to learn.

Three female friends take center stage and reunite their band and audition in a small Greek cafe. They wear bell-bottoms with tons of flair, dance in sync, and honor the flag of Sweden with their color choices. It's not Schindler's fucking List, don't overthink it.

A group of suited gang members wielding axes surrounds two men. The men are back to back, arms raised in defense and about to kick some serious ass. They are two of the three masters hiding in this slum and not going to lie, the moment when the music swells and he catches the lighter makes me cry a little bit. Our hero is unphased as he is a Vietnam vet, genius bruiser, one man army, karate master, and community serviceman. In to make the save, in the center, is the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, partially incorporeal, avenging his demose by getting the jump on a gun toting right wing nut this time around. SUUUUEEEEEYY!

A man in turn of the century clothing holds a red ball and paces between two doors lined opposite him. He's on stage and about to walk into one of the doors and pull off the most amazing magic trick the audience has ever seen. It just needs to be dressed up a bit more. Are you watching closely? Or do you want to be deceived? And again, David Bowie is out of this scene and still kicking major ass, as to be expected.

Snow covered mountains line the top third of the frame, gradually descending to golden rolling hills on a treeless landscape. There is one tree though, where an older cowboy stands, comforting a distraught kid who named himself after a revolver. The kid can't stand realizing 'kid' was a perfectly appropriate name for himself. The old man is about to take a gnarly pill from a whisky bottle and have some choice words about a lawman's exterior decorating.

A great martial artist (and magician) with a greater moustache has his eyes closed while reviewing martial arts scrolls- tiger (tiger, tiger) and bird (hmmm, bird). He refuses to be dead named and will cut off your big toe if you try.
