The verse of the day is John 1:5, one of my favorites (especially when I’m depressed) so I read it aloud. I asked Aster if she knew that Jesus was the light that overcame the dark, and she stared at me as if to say: “Duh, Quinn. All cats know about Jesus.”

Maybe the NyQuil is still in effect.

I’m supposed to be doing dissertation work, so naturally I’m crafting my first post on Bluesky instead.
