I would love to be able to get a covid shot, but I guess I don't qualify. It's ridiculous that I can't protect myself because we have idiots making decisions for us. Nothing makes sense anymore.

I can't stop thinking about Adriana Smith. As a mother who had children in the NICU, I feel bad for her baby. As a mother who lost an adult child, I feel bad for her mother. The whole situation is messed up, from the time they denied her care and sent her home without treating her.

I need to express my appreciation for Linda Rondstadt. I heard her on the radio today, and it reminded me of those dark, dark days after my son died. I would listen to her songs to get through my car rides. She made those lonely miles bearable with her beautiful voice.
