They are employed by the Turkish company Limak, responsible for the construction of the Camp Nou, but dozens of them have already been fired and sent back to Türkiye without being able to contest the decision.

The violations concern the officers' excessive use of force, including the use of water cannons and tear gas. The Udine Police itself reports 150 tear gas grenades fired: the launches lasted about an hour and a half, with some shots fired at chest height.
