Who is one of your favorite authors, and why?

One of my favorite fantasy authors is Benedict Jacka. I first loved his work for the amazing world building he does, then gained a deeper respect for him through what he shares with others writers. He talks about his process and what worked for him.

Chicago friends, I'm a little bit miffed that none of you ever mentioned this very important local trace fossil: a Looney-Tunes-style rat-shaped imprint in concrete, in the Roscoe Village neighborhood 🐀
The 'Chicago Rat Hole' Is the Hottest Tourist Destination of 2024
The cement imprint has existed for at least a decade, although no one seems sure how it got there

Frozen ginger, lemon, star anise tea cubes today.
1 whole organic lemon, 125 grams fresh ginger root (peel on) & 1-2 star anise whole seed pods. Rinse. Add 1.5 cups of water. Blend to smooth watery paste in a bullet blender. Freeze in small herb cube trays. One cube per cup, honey to taste. Enjoy!

Nobody gets prosecuted for simply writing fan fiction. This is not dangerous misinformation. It is factual.

I’ve been on the board of the Authors league fund too long to want to deny elderly authors royalties for books they wrote when they were young. (Check out the link. Donate if you can.)
