The most recent studies say that the age of people who are getting their first time mortgage has gone from 25 about 30 years ago to 40 as of last year. Fuck wants to be paying a mortgage when they're in their goddamn retirement home?? 😆

But hey, thanks for missing the point entirely. Tech heads, billionaires, and Rand junkies think every social program should be eliminated. And they work hard trying to get dismantle them while enjoying the benefits which wouldn't be available to future generations if they get their way.

I believe you misspelled hypocrisy. And she only paid in Social Security for about 8 years. And there's no way she paid enough into Medicare that it covered her expenses when she got lung cancer. Which she caused herself. While ranting ad nauseum to get Soc Security, welfare, and Medicare eliminated

Every city NEEDS business diversity! It's what makes a community. Even LA where I lived in the 90s was way more than just movie biz. Big hospitals, nat'l law firms, huge non-profits & architecture firms. It made it interesting & widened your horizons mtg people from so many different industries.

It's not corporations per se. Oakland had (has?) Clorox, Kaiser, big real estate firms, SF had big banks & stock brokers, Bechtel, Chevron. But there were artists, musicians, travel agents, phone company employees. And everyone mixed w/everyone. Bar hopping mtg new people..it really was fantastic.

She actually received SS, pardon my error. But she also used Medicare to treat her lung cancer which was almost certainly caused by her heavy smoking. In other words, she caused her own problems, then use the system that she railed against and sought to bring down to fix her.
