d)midfielders/defenders not lowering their eyes e ) forwards leading to the boundary (easy to defend) f) forwards not teaming well enough (blocking/ clearing space/providing multiple leading options.

Well done Anth. I believe the issue you raise about entries inside 50 are critical. Problems that effect efficiency are caused by a) allowing an outnumber (high half forwards not getting back ) b) bombing deep without a pack marking beast (Draper?)c) forwards not spreading or doubling back to lead

Thanks Anth comprehensive as always. Beaten at selection (defence too tall),zone's undisciplined, high half forwards didn't get back quickly enough.Poor disposal/decision making(I'm looking at you Shiel & friends) and forwards at times blocking each other's lanes did not help. Effort top rate.

A good player who sometimes drifted in & out of games. I find it hard to believe you rate him higher than Roger Merret.

Depends on your definition of toughness. I would include Duursma & Martin (absolute gut runners) & possibly Hobbs.
