I actually think the way the Manics handled it was with the epitome of respect and dignity.
I get that INXS had the right to continue their career post Hutchence, but the problem was he was the face and symbol of the band with charisma that MADE them.
Without that they’re five jobbing Aussie musos.

I don’t know for sure, obviously, but my educated guess would be that it’s a cameo as Tobey’s Earth is decimated via an incursion.
Same with X-Men and the Fox-verse but that one will be drawn out over the course of the film, so we can get loads of AvX fights.
