Found evidence of some intense studying that happened in one of our library’s meeting rooms:

The waiting room was updated! Greetings from the corporate purgatory for boring adults. Kids need to find a new space to get their oil changes, I guess.
An entrance into a renovated waiting room area. White walls and ceilings surround you. Light wood patterned vinyl flooring holds you steady as you try to sit in very tall chairs that line the bar-height table along the perimeter. Somewhere deeper inside, I imagine seeing a spreadsheet open on a laptop and hearing a deep, existential sigh.

Greetings from the saddest play area available to children with boring adults and their boring vehicles needing routine maintenance.
Three child-size chairs face a blue wall along an extended bar-like desk. There’s another blue plastic kids chair awkwardly pushed against a play table. No toys or activities are visible, and the maroon carpet has a rundown hotel lobby pattern and grime to it.

Context: I have a little library cart at work that I use for projects (yes, like WEEDING), and it has lots of random cat cutouts taped to it.

I revisited one of the areas of the collection I oversee, and lo and behold, one of my pals had been stuck to this book for months. Reunited at last. 📚

For me, it’s this scene from 101 Dalmatians when I’m lathering soap on my washcloth in the shower.

Nothing like some new cat nip donut toys to celebrate turning ✨5✨. Jinora was very into kicking hers, and Finnegan sat and licked his for a long time. Wild times over here!
