You are not alone. So many people find it hard to ask for help, or don’t even think about it. They assume they are just supposed to do everything on their own. You will make connections and hopefully find a supportive community where it feels safe to need help from others.

Also lavavajillas is a very fun word. Do they call it that or lavaplatos in Uruguay. One thing Duolingo is not good about is telling you which words are used in which countries. And when I was in Spain, my family did not have a dishwasher so I don't remember learning that word. 🧫🍽️
