Some of these aspects are fixable with a lot of effort, some are not, but League has done very little to smooth over its new player experience since Arcane, despite this when they would be getting the most new players.

Here’s an unnatural movement scheme from a dead genre, you have to play to unlock most of the cool champs from arcane, and you’ll spend the next 100 hours being farmed by champions you’ve never seen before. And if you lose to those abilities once or twice you’re now getting farmed for the game.

Yeah absolutely. For me the big moment is when ekko talks jinx out of suicide, just off screen, over there. The conclusion of the series’ closest thing to a protagonist’s character arc is just not shown.

To his credit, he was the first to discover junkrat was really strong in stage 1, doing much to carry houston to stage 1 playoffs, but once junkrat got nerfed in the following stages his merit ceased

It sucks for ow "analysis" for all the same reasons it's awful on broadcast

I will say that the action scenes were the one good part of the film; there were interesting, creative moments, such as with the gun that shoots blanks or the gasoline, but they went on too long and are in service of a boring film that needed an extra draft.

I watched the extended cut, but most of the scenes and jokes go on way too long to where they've served their purpose and it's become mundane. Maybe the theatrical cut is better, but it also seems like a general problem. The first act is too long with too little, and some actions scenes could be cut

I think the game has an interesting world with lore I love and a great dialogue system. But I can't say that dialogue is better than disco elysium. Or that BG3's better combat doesn't make this game feel tiring. Or that VTMB isn't better in its first half. But it has its charm.

But, while it's fun a buoys the game, it never really fully commits to its interesting dialogue system, only becoming more combat focused as as the game goes on. This isn't like VTMB, where the early game is focused on dialogue but then clearly gets worse. The problem pervades all of Origins.

But the roleplay options are really good. So many characters have so many different lines to react to your statements, and the possible actions for your character are diverse and interesting (with good ethical dilemmas). It's fun to prod and see new parts of the game with each playthrough.
