My hunch is Newsom’s foray into middle ground will backfire. Too many on the right take one look at him and run back to old Daddy.

My late wife battled ovarian and breast cancer successfully, only to die in an accident.
If the Affordable Care Act (ACA) had not been in place, we would have faced lifetime payment limits and possible denial of care for her breast cancer for which one drug alone was $100K/year
for treatment.
