Now that BBC has apologised for its editing mistakes ( has anyone checked past Fox coverage?) perhaps it is time Trump rowed back from his lie about “ it defrauded voters” - a curious claim, as it was not published in USA - and having damaged his reputation - wait for it - he won the election!!!!

I wake up to the news that Trump threatens the BBC with a billion pound lawsuit.
A couple of facts - it was more than 3 years ago - check the UK limitations statutes.
Defamation requires reputational damage - really!

Reform will apparently pledge today that they'd abolish indefinite leave to remain - including retrospectively, to people already granted it. Obviously this is a moral abomination but it is also a practical and legal impossibility.

As someone who was a negotiator for many years - I can say that assassinating the people on the opposite side of the table is most unlikely to take you towards a mutually agreeable solution.
