Hi! I am Jessica, artist behind Overbrook Clay which specializes in wheel thrown ceramics, hand crafted in Cincinnati, Ohio, primarily made with earthy speckled clay with vibrant glossy glazes. I hope you enjoy my work and getting some behind the scenes views of the process.
I gave my branding a little glow-up, new logo, expanded colors, and some icons that celebrate my signature forms (yes, the donut vase made it in). I worked with an amazing designer to make it bolder and more playful.

Back to where it all started with these half dipped donut vases. They sold out at my very first market in 2022 and I’ve been serving them up to the ceramic donut lovers since.

Sprinkle donut vases will be added to my shop We’d Feb 5 at 6 ET! Each ceramic donut is thrown on the wheel, altered, and hand dipped in glaze and sprinkles. Mark your calendars!

Reading the stories of small coffee roasters this morning is alarming. Especially after 4 days of our shop being open & only 3 people through our doors the entire time.
Buying coffee? Try local roasters or they won’t be here in 5 weeks.
Need a mug? Consider a potter (any) Or we’ll be gone, too.

When I moved to Cincinnati in 2009 I didn’t know anyone or anything about the city and one of the first cool things I discovered was final Friday. Now 16 years later my pottery will be for sale at the Pendleton Arts center for final Fridays! 25 year old Jessica would be so proud.
