Each of us has an inner monk, seeking stillness and truth, and an outer armor, built to navigate life. They are not separate but two aspects of the same being—one to seek, the other to act. To honor both is to bridge worlds: to engage with the system while knowing you are not the system.

Hindrances take many forms: a hat blows off mid-serve, the blank page stares back in defiance, the mind churns before a 🍄 journey. Creativity and stillness, struggle and ease; they are the same. Hindrances ask us: resist or allow? Not through struggle, but by being with both, not choosing sides.

Awareness shows us that everything comes and goes-moments, thoughts, things. When we see this, a quiet clarity can emerge. Life feels less like something to control and more like a rhythm we are already part of. By noticing we allow understanding to grow on its own; light slowly filling a dark room.
