This. You should be respected enough that the president fears not having you there. They’re all scared shits. Every single “reporter” should be questioning everything the president does. That’s the entire point.
White House Press Corp-GROW A SPINE

The press corps should be constantly criticized for its cowardice. The current press corps lacks credibility which stems from a combination of declining boldness, social dynamics, and the disgraceful felonious bully. They have destroyed journalistic integrity.

Happy Thanksgiving. You don’t have to believe in the premise of the holiday (I sure as hell don’t), but: you can believe in good friends, the family we choose, and sharing food, happiness, maybe good movies. That’s what Thanksgiving is to me, and the specifics don’t matter. Find joy in each other.

If I have to type "band" at the end of my web search for your musical act so I don't get irrelevant results, you picked a bad band name.

I built my new PC back in June and boy am I glad I did. I thought the video card was the problem but turns out, I should have invested in RAM.

I hate that like the internet has nuked people's brains, I saw someone bitching about "why is the President ALWAYS! like 90!"

Obama was in his 40s, so was Bill Clinton, W was 54, just in the last 10 years have Presidents been old (and people could have voted for the 59 year old)

Two miles of ice core on the shelf at our national ice core facility in Lakewood, Colorado. The WAIS Divide core from West Antarctica is a 3400m long (deepest US core, 2nd deepest ice core ever) 68,000 year old record of high resolution climate.

I like horror that is based on us exploring shit like we’re top of the food chain and superior only to find out we’ve awaken some shit we shouldn’t have.

This goes with all forms of scientific exploration. Traveling to space, underwater, experimenting, etc.

“Life” is one of my favorite horrors.
The US ice core research community, with international partners, has recovered valuable records of past climate from the Arctic & Antarctic since the 1950s.

Here is a sampling of cores—including 6,000,000 year old ice via NSF Center for Oldest Ice Exploration—at the NSF Ice Core Facility.

I’ll be honest, I can’t tell you where any of these movies fall in order of sequence outside the first one. You could tell me it’s called Resident Evil: The Last Stand and I’d still question if it’s in the middle of the films.
All right, speaking of zombies from a few days ago... Time to share a guilty pleasure of mine.

Resident Evil, the movies.

Based on the hit game, this franchise follows Alice as she fights back against the evil Umbrella corp. while the apocalypse unfolds around them.

Who else loves these?

AOC to @pabloreports.bsky.social : A swastika is one of the clearest symbols of hatred in all of humanity… to remove that designation… indicates a possible collaboration with those very elements, which I think is genuinely frightening to any American.
