🌿 As an environmentalist, I stopped wanting to travel the world.

✈️ Learning about air travel’s carbon footprint made me appreciate staying closer to home.

💛 There’s beauty right where we are – we just need to slow down and see it.

Many cultures honor polar bears with powerful names: Nanuk, the Ice Bear; God’s Dog; the Great Sea Bear; the Lord of the Arctic. Their strength and playfulness made them legends, yet rapid changes in the Arctic are putting pressure on the environment they rely on. ❄️ #MissionPolarBearRescue

Weekend plan: learning React JS.

Staying current keeps projects moving steadily and creates more room to support what truly matters.

Skill-building weekends > spending weekends. 🌱

When we simplify our spending and stop chasing external expectations, we reduce both financial pressure and environmental impact. 🌍

We gain more time for family, meaningful work, and a lifestyle that’s lighter on the planet ✨ – without expensive consumption or high-impact travel.

Wild cats play important roles across Africa’s ecosystems – from apex predators to elusive small species. This new series is a great way to learn about all ten. 🌍
The #WildCatsOfTheWorld series will continue, but I’ll be rotating themes.

New this week: #10AfricanCatSpecies – big and small cats of Africa.

More series coming soon. 🐾

Please help protect this beautiful creation we’ve been entrusted with. 🌍
This #SumatranTiger, captured on trail camera, is wild, safe and free. But fewer than 300 remain in the wild. Their forests, and chances of survival, are shrinking every day. Donate now to save Sumatran tigers. 💛 https://bit.ly/47npbFM

In loving memory of Olimba – Queen of the Luangwa Valley 🐆

She lived 14 remarkable years, raising 3 cubs and inspiring countless hearts. Brave, beautiful, and resilient to the end. Her spirit lives on through her son Kupela and the wilds she called home 🌿💛

🌿 As an environmentalist, I stopped buying decor that serves no functional purpose and exists just for aesthetics.

🌍 These items are often impossible to recycle and end up as waste.

🌿 Just made my first e-waste drop-off at United Electronic Recycling – such a great feeling!

Grateful for companies that make recycling possible.

We need more centers for electronics and other hard-to-recycle materials in every community. ♻️

From African savannahs to Arctic forests, wild cats have conquered nearly every corner of our planet. 🌍

Blue = smaller cats (Felinae)
Green = big cats (Pantherinae)

Wherever prey thrives, cats follow. 🐾
